About

Jo Mortensen founded Joji as a force for good in the beauty industry. As a sustainability professional, she developed Joji to live in alignment with people and our planet – and the deep knowing that every choice we make matters. Joji empowers people to own their responsibility – not with guilt, but with promise.

Joji’s
Philosophy

Conventional skin care products are centred on the idea of using whatever it takes to achieve our society’s standard of beauty. But this way of thinking comes with a price: a long-term effect on the body, a harmful environmental impact, not to mention the toll chasing these standards takes on our body image.

We handcraft small batches of exquisite skincare products that nourish the body and mind. Our products are full of high-quality organic, fair trade and cruelty free raw materials. Our supply chain is ethical and environmentally conscious in every aspect – formulation, sourcing, production, energy, transportation, and waste minimisation. Our refill programme makes it easy to put Joji’s packaging back in circulation.

We’re committed to giving back. Skin care you can trust. Natural without compromise.

Giving Back

Have an organization or cause you’d like to partner with Joji on?

At Joji we believe in doing good with every decision. Women in science and breast cancer research and support are two issues very dear to us. That’s why we support the below two organisations doing important work in this space:

Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women scientists and the science they do. Their events transform public areas into an arena for public learning and scientific debate.

METAVIVOR is dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. METAVIVOR exists to sustain hope for those living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer (MBC). They fund research, provide support to families and raise awareness.
